Hosted Mind answers classify, plan and route for a change, and returns receipts.

Service
Rates each change by risk, determines checks owed, routes to agents or reviewers, and signs receipts.

Keys

Calls to the Mind API authenticate with a Bearer token in the Authorization header.

Format
Starts with ak_. Create it under API keys on the account page once your plan is active.
Secret
A key shows once when you create it. Store it in a secret manager or CI secrets; a lost or leaked key is revoked and replaced.
Header
Send it as Authorization: Bearer ak_...
Access
Any key on an active plan reaches every Mind tool. A canceled plan keeps working to the end of the paid month.

Limits

Limits enforce isolation. One key over its limit never slows another.

Rate limit
Per-minute rate per key. One key over its limit never slows another.
Request quota
Monthly request quota per key.
Payload limit
Requests accept bodies up to 1 MiB.
Status 400
Refused input.
Status 401
Missing, invalid or revoked key.
Status 413
Body over 1 MiB.
Status 429
Over rate or server busy (honour Retry-After).
Error bodies
Error bodies are generic by design.

Receipts in build

The server signs each receipt with an Ed25519 key; verifying keys are published at GET /keys; a valid signature proves the holder of that key signed that content at that time. It does not prove the code is correct.
